Is there anybody out there, or do all of the Western Federals hibernate in the winter time south of the Ohio and west of the Mississippi?
This sucks, i'm ready to get out and see you fellers. The keyboard does get old in the winter time. I was messing with some of my gear the other day, you know it's bad with nothing coming up and you get crap out.
I think i'll just go stick my head in the oven too see what that feels like. I'll let you know!! ;D

Boozie,
The fact that we had eight inches of snow Sunday, now we are to get 10-13. Seems that every other day we have at least 1-3 inches of snow. This makes us northeners tough. I like to read during this time of year but geez. I would like to go outside and walk or something.
One thing it really makes us appreciate the time we have at events.
I keep thinking about Kennesaw and how nice and warm it will be. At the Wilson's Creek shoot last August, there was a heat index of 110. Kind of like your oven.
Boys, my phone is always on. Give me a call and we can chat. 319-341-5885.

Well the oven thing didn't work too well, one side is over done the other side under done. Don't try it Chris!!!
Holler, hope you stay warm out there.
Tim glad you boys didn't blow away, seems like West Tennessee is making a habit of winter tornados.

Scott, does that mean you're half-baked? If so, turn over and finish it.
Harrison, It won't be nice and warm, It'll be hotter than the blue blazes of hell! I can't wait. It was actually about 72f today- windows down and music blarin' in Atlanta today.
Timothy, just add some more sugar!

From what I have read in the paper and seen on the news you all got hit hard by the storms. I hope that all of you are safe and that your homes are intact.
Do any of you know if Shiloh was hit by the storm?
Chris, funny thing about living up here is that after having extreme cold weather for so long. Once we hit 30-35 as a temp people act as if it is 80. I still have students on the coldest day of the year wear shorts!
I am really looking forward to seeing you all at Kennesaw.

I don't know about global warming, but we haven't had a hard winter since 2002-2003, and at one point we had 36" of snow on the ground, which is a heck of a lot of white stuff for just a few miles west of Dee Cee. So far this year, we have had a couple of light dustings, which tell me we are over due for another nasty ice storm about the time the apricots are starting to bloom, thus denying proper fruit set once again.
To wet to turn the soil. Too windy to prune. Too hot for golf....wait....I think I know that song.
