Alright fella's,
Aka "Night Patrols," this ideer is in the semi-finalizing stages, so here goes:
Squad(s) of four (three minimum) deployed to find locations, physical objects, or complete objectives.
Participants form afternoon and depart Friday dusk. Saturday 9 AM (ish) participants rendezvous. Return to parking. Optional; Sat revise objectives. Repeat Sat night with same/new participants.
This is to focus on map, terrain, compass reading, camping skills, exercise. Generate CW interest, new recruit training,
This idea is along the lines of Giggity Arnold's mini-event post last month. It's not meant to interfere with the "established" events on your Mess schedule. They are meant to be as close to immersion as possible. I have more info but it's not fit for public consumption at this printing.
So there, Josh

Do the period repop compasses have a loop where a length of dummy cord can be affixed in the form of a lanyard?
Will the stearite candle have a red lense? ;D
Great idea. NAVEX 2007 is on its way....
